Briargate Welcomes Anual Car Show

The 40th anual "Old Timer"car show hid a
sentimental meaning in one of its cars.

If you were cruising around the Briargate area last weekend, there is no doubt
you noticed all the old cars. The 40th anual "Old Timer" car show took place on
October 2nd, and closed two major intersections, Briargate and Union.
Travelig north was a hassle, but engines roaring made up for the traffic issues.
Regulars know Steve Hank and his 1966 Shelby 427 Cobra very well. Not many of his
followers know the story behind the car. The cobra has a special place in
my heart, this specific car belonged to my father.
Hank said.

The car features a 427 cubic inch engine, with a white exterior
and black lether interior. Under the hood, the signiture Cobra logo
can be seen. My father always had a love for cars, he would have loved to be apart
of this community.
Hanks father passed due to lung cancer. All donations and admission
ticket sales are distrubuted evenly to cancer research centers in Colorado.
